Sunflower seeds

Suggested use:

Sunflower seeds, though small in size, hold a remarkable wealth of nutritional benefits. They are an excellent source of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress. They also contain a good amount of healthy fats, particularly monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which support heart health and help regulate cholesterol levels.

  • Great on bread, focaccia, crackers, and savory biscuits.

  • They can be mixed into the dough or used as a topping.

  • One tablespoon in a green or fruit smoothie adds protein and healthy fats.

  • You can blend them or leave them whole if you’re using a powerful blender.

  • Just 2–3 minutes in a non-stick pan (without oil) are enough.

  • It enhances their flavor and makes them crunchy — perfect as a snack or for soups.
